More than a hundred years ago, the birth of two history of Mercedes-Benz set. Gottlieb Daimler was born in Germany. A decade later, Karl Benz was born also in Germany. Quite interestingly, there are 60 miles apart but both share a common interest. At a very young age, both are already familiar with the machine but both have different approaches to building cars that do not believe at that time they will join.
In 1886, Karl Benz made his first motorized tricycle which was quickly followed by four wheels in 1893. On the other hand Daimler built a horseless carriage in 1886 and two years later made a deal with William Steinway to produce a horseless carriage in the United States. Steinway produced Mercedes cars and trucks for 3 years. This is a stepping stone to the history of Mercedes Benz.
War in Germany, plays a very important role for the birth of prestigious cars. With the economic collapse, there is little or no fuel for cars and high taxes of 15% is made disasters car production. Because it is Benz sought a strong partner to consider the DMG but was rejected initially. Then, the economy becomes worse and the car in the United States very little only a third of the cars manufactured by each of the Benz, Ford and DMG. Out of necessity, Benz and DMG signed an agreement of mutual interest while maintaining individual identity.
The biggest achievement in the history of Mercedes is when both DMG and Benz merge. There is a badge made for merging the two companies. Their symbol is the three-pointed star with a greeting with the words surrounding the Mercedes-Benz at the top and bottom. Incorporation of DMG and Benz are very successful and their car production rose to around 7000 cars in 1927. In 1930, the largest and most prestigious car was launched and Mercedes Benz is one of the leading brands in the automotive industry today.
